My name is Jon Schulz, (Captain Jack) Brand Manager for 96.7 The Eagle in Rockford, IL. I have been in radio/media locally since 1996. I am the father of two awesome “men,” Gavin (17) and Nicholas (20).
Being in media and having this platform, I feel it’s my responsibility to support those that protect and serve, and to also help shine that positive “blue” light as much as I can.
I was asked four years ago to be the host of the Police Memorial Breakfast, this is an absolute honor. As difficult and emotional of an event as this is, I take great pride in being a part of it.
When Blue 815 was first discussed, it was one of those things that instantly felt right. Being able to use my name and brand to help support our local officers, is a no-brainer.
